Summary: The aim of this workshop is to familiarize the researchers who do not use or not currently use econometric techniques in their research.

 

The objective of presentation:  how to analyze a social or economic phenomenon using quantitative methods – econometric techniques

4. Econometric analysis (focus on the econometric techniques: simple regression analysis, multiple regression analysis).

How to use the quantitative methods in achieving articles

4. Model and empirical research

Step 1.Tthe identification of the categories of variables that compose the model;

Step 2. The construction of the econometric model to make the impact assessment;

Step 3. The empirical research by the introduction and validation of the time using the model built;

Step 4. The interpretation of the obtained quantitative results.

5. Conclusions

 

Short CV – Sebastian ENE

 

  • Vice Rector of Constantin Brancoveanu University since 2012( research field).

  • Associate professor at Constantin Brancoveanu University since 2010.

  • Phd. since 2005 (Academy of Economic Studies Bucharest) – Specialization: Financial, Monetary and International Trade  -Graduated  - Magna Cum Laude.

  • 2011 – 2013  - post-doctoral student at Romanian Academy. Specialization : Foreign Direct Investment(FDI).

  • Areas of interest in economic research: macroeconomic policies; FDI, capital markets, project management.

  • More then 40 articles indexed  ISI or international databases.
