Visiting Translator Scheme 2016
Master in Specialized Translation and Interpreting, ISCAP
The Directorate-General for Translation of the European Commission selected the Master in Specialized Translation and Interpreting of ISCAP-IPP for the Visiting Translator Scheme Program 2016.
Of the 37 approved projects, the Master in Specialized Translation and Interpreting of ISCAP-IPP was the only project in Portugal honoured by this competitive European program.
The ateliers program of the Visiting Translator of the European Commission, Maria Joana Cardoso, will be the following:
23rd November, Wednesday, 18.30, Laboratory 1, ISCAP:
Atelier: Multilingualism in the EU, Documents lifecycle at the European Commission, Quality in the DGT.
Atelier: Clearwritting & Legiswritting
24th November, Thursday, 18.30, Laboratory 1, ISCAP:
Atelier: Beeing a translator at the European Commission: resources, services, products … advantages and difficulties … joys and misfortunes …
Atelier: DGT and careers in European institutions – practical references.
The program is intended preferably to all lectures and students of the Master in Specialized Translation and Interpreting of ISCAP-IPP.
