The spread and normalisation of the use of ICTs have allowed us to access information and knowledge at the click of a mouse. However, with the use of these new technologies also emerge new dangers, especially for those who are more vulnerable, such as children and adolescents.
To prevent these risks and guide young people in a safe and productive use of the Internet, the Centre for Intercultural Studies (CEI) of ISCAP-P.PORTO participates in the Erasmus+ project KA2 ENDING – ICT & Early School Leaving. Developing a New Methodology to Empower Children in Digital WellbeIng and Critical ThiNkinG, with several European partners.
After having hosted the first face-to-face international meeting of the ENDING project last June, CEI participated, between the 3rd and 4th of November, in another international meeting of the project, this time in Bilbao, organised by the partner Pantallas Amigas – Asociación para el fomento del uso saludable de las ICT.
These days were dedicated to presenting the results and the evolution of the project since the last international meeting in ISCAP, and to deciding on the next actions to develop. There was also time to enjoy cultural and convivial moments that keep the bonds that unite this team even stronger.
