On 16 and 17 November, CEI, the Centre for Intercultural Studies, will host the second international meeting of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “SciArt – Promoting 21st century skills through an inclusive STEAM approach to Cultural Heritage” [2022-1-CY01-KA220-SCH-000086608], with the presence of the partners: European University of Cyprus, Foundation Anastasios G. Leventis (Cyprus), The Falcon Cultural Enterprises Ltd (Cyprus), Aristotelio Panepistimio Thessalonikis (Greece), Panepistimio Dytikis Makedonias (Greece), Peiramatiko Scholeio Panepistimiou Thessalonikis (Greece), Esposende Municipal Museum and Eugénio de Andrade School Group.
The SciArt project proposes the development of a whole series of scientific and educational activities around European cultural heritage, not only studied through scientific and archaeological methods, but also seen as a cultural product with historical, aesthetic and political functions, both now and in the future. As such, heritage is also linked to local and national narratives which, in turn, influence the formation of a sense of identity at both local and European level.
