Nara Cavalcanti Maranhão de Albuquerque, from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Recife Campus, Brazil, is a visiting researcher at the CEI – Centre for Intercultural Studies between March and May 2024, to carry out her international mission there under the theme “Strengthening outreach and knowledge exchange: An international partnership between UFPE and Portugal in promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment”.
At the CEI, Nara Cavalcanti is researching a project that aims to identify, observe and analyse good practices in higher education institutions in Portugal that promote inclusion, gender equality and parity and the empowerment of women and girls, under the scientific supervision of researcher Clara Sarmento.
