CEI Researchers at the 60th International Art Bienale in Venice

Ana Margarida Silva and Inês Pires, researchers at CEI – Centre for Intercultural Studies, attended the 60th Venice International Art Biennale on 14 and 15 June 2024.

During the Biennale, Ana Margarida Silva took part in the Art & Science Lab for Young Creatives and Early Career Researchers, as part of a participation grant funded by COST Action SHiFT CA21166 “Social Sciences and Humanities for Transformation and Climate Resilience”.

The event awarded several photographs and narratives based on the question “How will we live together well?”, emphasising storytelling and reflecting on each participant’s personal inspiration and interpretation of a regenerative future. This COST Action SHiFT activity is inspired by the creative and interdisciplinary initiative of the New European Bauhaus, which connects the European Green Deal to living spaces and their experiences, inviting us to imagine and build a sustainable and inclusive future together.
