The research and projects of the Centre for Intercultural Studies, as well as the activities of the MA in Intercultural Studies for Business, were the subject of the conference “Researching and Teaching Interculturality in Higher Education: Highlights from a journey between science and business”, delivered on 18 July by Clara Sarmento, Professor and Director of the Centre for Intercultural Studies,by invitation of the School of Foreign Studies of the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, China.
The conference opened the 2022 cycle of online seminars “Interculturality in Higher Education: New Ideas for Research and Teaching”, in which academics from all over the world analyse new concepts and research methods on issues of communication, language, culture and entrepreneurship in the contemporary global context.
This was the only Portuguese contribution invited to integrate this lecture cycle, thus contributing to the international promotion of ISCAP-P.PORTO’s research and teaching.
The next scheduled conferences will be given by researchers and lecturers from the universities of Montpellier, University College of London, University of Queensland, University of Liverpool and University of Helsinki.
