On April 27 and 28, the researchers from the Centre for Intercultural Studies (CEI), Ana Margarida Silva and Ana Inês Pires, represented CEI at the 2nd Congress of RNEC – National Network for Cultural Studies, which took place at the University of Algarve, and presented the communications “Critical competences for the democratization of digital culture: The Ending Project” and “Augmented Reality and Inclusive Intercultural Education: The Augmented Assessment Project”.
The 2nd congress of the National Network in Cultural Studies (RNEC) disseminated and promoted the research and teaching developed in the interdisciplinary field of Cultural Studies, stimulating national cooperation and making Cultural Studies practised in Portugal increasingly a reference inside and outside the country.
During RNEC’s general meeting, on the morning of April 28th, it was unanimously approved that the third and next edition of the Congress will take place at ISCAP-P.PORTO, in an initiative of the Intercultural Studies Centre, in June 2024.
