Ana Margarida Silva, researcher at CEI – Centre for Intercultural Studies and FCT doctoral student, took part in the first Training School of COST Action CA21125 MARGISTAR “A European forum for revitalisation of marginalised mountain areas”. The Training School took place in the Gerês-Xurés Transfrontier Biosphere Reserve, from 11 to 13 June 2024. During this event, the participating researchers had the opportunity to explore the topic of “periphery traps”, social and socio-ecological innovation and post-marginalisation visions related to mountain areas.
