Post-Doctorate in Education (Entrepreneurship) from the University of Porto, PhD in Education (Entrepreneurship) from the University Santiago de Compostela and Degree in International Relations and Cooperation from the University Fernando Pessoa. PhD student in Economics and Business at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
He is Adjunct Professor at ISLA – Polytechnic Institute of Management and Technology (ISLAIPGT) where he coordinates the Business and Innovation LAB (BIL), and Guest Adjunct Professor at ISCAP of P.Porto (Polytechnic Institute of Porto), where he is coordinator of the Postgraduate Programme in Business Creation and Development and the Postgraduate Programme in Science, Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
As a researcher, he is a member of the Centre for Intercultural Studies (CEI) and the Centre for Organisational and Social Studies of the Polytechnic of Porto (CEOS.PP), both ISCAP of P.Porto and also the Research Centre of ISLA-IPGT. He is a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal Mir (Management in Review). He regularly participates in international scientific conferences, presenting papers and as a member of the scientific committee. He has supervised Master’s degree work and has been a member of Master’s and PhD exam juries. He is Editor and Reviewer of scientific journals.
He is a founding member of the international project SHINE – Scaling Higher Education Innovation for Europe (https://shine-project.eu/). expert in the international Santander Explorer programme. He is recognised as EntreComp Practitioner by EntreCompEurope, a project co-funded by the COSME programme of the European Union and Early Warning Europe Mentor He is certified as Senior Marketer with specialisation in Academy by APPM – Portuguese Association of Marketing Professionals.
He is a certified business coach by the European Coaching Association (ECA), mentor, management consultant and certified trainer (IEFP and CCPFC) in the areas of Entrepreneurship and Management. He is a certified trainer of trainers and teachers (Entrepreneurship). He regularly participates as a speaker in seminars and conferences and also as a jury member in idea competitions.
