Junior Researcher, Ana Margarida, publishes article “Changing Perspectives: The Role of Creative Industries in Social Innovation Projects to Empower Local Communities” in the Lusophone Journal of Cultural Studies
Ana Margarida Silva, Junior Researcher at the Center for Intercultural Studies and Graduate in the MA in Intercultural Studies for Business, has just published the article “Changing Perspectives: The Role of Creative Industries in Social Innovation Projects to Empower Local Communities” in the 9th Volume of the Lusophone Journal of Cultural Studies.
This year’s edition has the theme Intercultural Mediation, Citizenship and Social Development. The article describes the importance of building possibilities for the reinterpretation and empowerment of local communities located in the interior of Portugal, namely the Mountain Villages, through Social Innovation and the use of cultural and creative industries.
