On 14 and 15 June, the Centre for Intercultural Studies (CEI) was present at the headquarters of the Mapfre Foundation in Madrid to participate in the Multiplier Event and the final meeting of the ENDING Project – ICT & Early School Leaving. Developing a New Methodology to Empower Children in Digital WellbeIng and Critical ThiNkinG [2020-1-ES01-KA201-082232].
The event marked the sharing of the activities carried out by the students of the Portuguese and Spanish schools involved in the ENDING project, as well as the celebration of the achievements of the whole team, at a time when the completion date of the project is approaching. The Multiplier Event was attended by the Infanta Elena de Borbón, the Ambassador of Portugal in Spain, the Director of Mapfre Foundation, as well as other high profile personalities.
The ENDING Project addresses ICT abuse as one of the causes of early school leaving, seeking to address it through the dissemination of good practices and the creation of positive examples in schools.
