Abstract

The current landscape of Human Resources (HR) is marked by unprecedented challenges, demanding a unique capacity to adapt and reinvent organisations and society. The 11th edition of the International Conference on Research and Intervention in Human Resources, held at ISCAP -Polytechnic of Porto, bears witness to this evolution, configuring itself as a stage for innovation and critical dialogue between the academic and professional HR community.This special issue of the Review of Business and Legal Sciences, entitled "Focus on People: Diversity, Sustainability and Digitalisation", makes a commitment to people management by identifying variables that facilitate productive, healthy, sustainable work environments, recognizing the contexts of competences development, and the inevitable digitalization that permeates the HR field.
