Challenges and opportunities of international trade
We are currently experiencing strong competition to attract and retain university knowledge and talent. This process, which is worldwide, is taking place at an accelerated pace and will have a strong impact on the capacity for growth and development of the various countries and regions. And Portugal has the conditions to be relatively well positioned in this competition.
Investing in the education sector, particularly in higher education in the areas of economics and management, is proving to be a unique opportunity for the country to grow in value chains and generate sustained growth. This is a path that does not depend on a critical dimension or geographical location, but rather on talent, the ability to attract, retain and develop human capital and the capacity to innovate.
Higher education institutions such as ISCAP play a crucial role in increasing the competitiveness of the Portuguese economy. In addition to the obvious benefits that result from training and developing human resources who, through the skills and knowledge they acquire, will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of companies, there are two other central areas where higher education has an essential role to play in improving the competitiveness of our economy: knowledge transfer and internationalisation.
In fact, a country is defined by its ability to meet its many challenges. Part of the answer lies in the excellence of the training it offers its students and the personal and professional skills they take with them to leverage the labour market.
To meet this goal, ISCAP, as the leading Business School in Portugal, offers a varied and recognised training portfolio, which has been strengthened and affirmed in its various aspects and levels - CTeSP, Undergraduate, Master's and Postgraduate courses. In this ecosystem, the teaching of International Business is an integral part of the school's mission, becoming a national and international benchmark and an essential component of its DNA and identity.
