In a competitive and uncertain business context, companies must permanently know how to reinvent themselves in the search for differentiating competitive advantages, which can often come from their own internal environment, from their people. People who feel good about their work tend to be more resilient, creative and better organizational citizens, becoming a source of competitive advantage for any organization. The main objective of this study is to understand the importance of well-being at work, organizational citizenship behaviors and workers’ turnover intentions. For this purpose, a quantitative study was carried out, using a questionnaire survey that obtained a sample of 290 responses. The results provide statistical evidence that well-being at work significantly influences organizational citizenship behaviors and reduces workers’ turnover intentions. This study recognizes the strategic role that workers’ well-being plays in organizations, showing that managers must encourage and value the adoption of practices aimed at creating healthy work environments and well-being in the search for better results.
