Blockchain technology: a reality for the digital world.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the usefulness of Blockchain technology for the digital business world and, for that, was analyzed the advantages and disadvantages associated to the process, as well as identified the areas where it has been successfully implemented or has raised more interest.

Note, this article was based on the collection of information published in articles by authors and available in databases.

In that way, was possible to understand blockchain technology and its benefits when applied correctly because of the insurance of transparency and credibility in the processes where it is implemented. On the other hand, it was perceived that if a failure arises in the execution of the blockchain process, all security associated with it may be compromised, since it will easily become vulnerable to cyberattacks.
