This research examines what role Artificial Intelligence plays in e-business data protection, therefore, looks at what contributions and applications these technologies make to data security.
Since the origin of the e-Business concept and its use, questions about consumer privacy and data protection have been raised. E-Business, i.e. the purchase of products or services online, began at the end of the 20th century, and since then Artificial Intelligence has been present in it. Although it was a weaker technology at the time, it was possible to see applications of Artificial Intelligence in e-Business from its early days. The importance is not only to protect data, but also to develop technologies that enable data prevention. That said, there are several technologies based on Artificial Intelligence that allow detecting and preventing these attacks, this protection being a measure of cybersecurity.
However, protection also begins in legislation. To this end, the new General Data Protection Regulation presents recommendations applied not only to all member states of the European Union, but also to all organisations that collect data in the EU, even if it is not their location.
