Abstract

This article was carried out with the aim of understanding the types of Business Intelligence systems and their impact on companies, more precisely in the area of ​​logistics. In addition, it was also carried out with the aim of assessing how Business Intelligence tools support managers' decision-making in logistics and in the context of electronic business. For this purpose, the definition of Business Intelligence and its systems and the definition and relevance of Power BI were initially addressed. In addition, the topic of Business Intelligence in the area of ​​logistics was addressed, in order to verify where it fits and what are its advantages in this area, especially in the storage and distribution of products, in the management of warehouses and in the management of transports and the area of logistics in the context of e-business, in order to understand the information systems used and the necessary adaptations of organizations due to the increase in e-commerce.

  Throughout this article, databases were used to search for documents appropriate to the topics mentioned above, such as b-on and RCAAP, resulting in the understanding of different BI systems and how they fit into the logistics of an organization.
